Cookies and similar browser-storage technologies can retain information between requests or visits. This policy distinguishes the website's own code from third-party booking and map services.
Scope of the review
The site's own application code does not set cookies, local storage or session storage and has no installed GA4, Google Ads or Meta Pixel integration. This does not mean that embedded services use no storage.
The following table records features found in the publicly delivered Localrent booking code reviewed on 25 September 2026. It is a code-level inventory, not confirmation that every item was created in a visitor's browser. Exact runtime cookies, conditional storage and third-party expiry settings could not all be verified. No cookie names or durations have been invented.

The ellipses above describe variable key families, not literal cookie names. Local storage is not a cookie and has no built-in cookie expiry date. Clearing site data through your browser may remove saved selections.
Categories
Strictly necessary: the site's own code has no storage entries to list in this category. A third-party feature is not treated as exempt from consent simply because it is included in the booking tool.
Preferences: currency, favourites and comparison features are identified above. Availability and actual use depend on the booking interface and your actions.
Analytics: no separate analytics tool is installed by Car Rental Alba. The third-party booking bundle contains the conditional Mixpanel integration described above. Its presence in code alone does not prove that it runs on every visit.
Marketing: no separate advertising pixel is installed in the site's own code. The complete runtime behaviour of embedded services has not been certified, so this is not a guarantee that no third party uses marketing technologies.
Third-party functionality: Localrent supplies search, vehicle images and booking features. Google Maps is embedded on the English airport page. Their own services may access or store browser information; no unverified Google cookie names or expiry periods are listed here.
Controls and consent
You can use browser settings to restrict cookies and clear stored site data. Some booking or map features may work differently when storage or third-party resources are blocked. Browser controls do not replace any consent mechanism required by applicable law.
This version of the website does not include a consent banner or a site-level preference centre. The embedded-service storage and consent arrangements require further verification before public release; this policy is not a substitute for that technical review. No change to Localrent loading behaviour has been made as part of this policy.
