These terms describe use of the Car Rental Alba information and comparison website. They do not replace the terms of Localrent or the rental supplier that apply to a booking.
Our role
Car Rental Alba helps visitors understand rental options and access offers through the integrated Localrent service. We do not own the listed vehicles, provide a rental fleet or directly hand over vehicles. We do not accept customer payments or operate a payment system.
Bookings and payments take place through Localrent. The relevant booking-platform terms and the agreement with the supplier named in your confirmation govern your reservation and rental. Read them before confirming an offer.
What to check before booking
For your selected vehicle, review:
- the total price and any selected extras or delivery charges;
- security deposit, insurance excess and the booking advance as separate items;
- included insurance, exclusions and claim procedures;
- mileage allowance, fuel policy and permitted routes;
- accepted payment methods and driver/document requirements;
- cancellation, amendment, late arrival and return conditions;
- the exact pickup and drop-off locations and times.
Options without a deposit or credit card may be available for selected cars, depending on the supplier. These are not guarantees applying to every vehicle. Car Rental Alba cannot guarantee that a specific car will be available when you search or book.
Information on this website
The guides provide general information to help you compare offers. Rental availability and conditions can change. The details shown in the specific booking offer should be checked before purchase rather than relying only on a general article or a previous search.
Use the website lawfully and do not submit misleading information through a booking service. You are responsible for checking that the selected vehicle and the supplier's conditions fit your plans.
Changes, cancellations and rental problems
Follow the procedures and deadlines in your booking conditions. Use the contacts in your voucher for amendments, cancellations, collection arrangements or problems during the rental. Car Rental Alba cannot approve a supplier's refund, change its insurance terms or authorise a route on its behalf.
Rights and responsibility
Nothing in these website terms is intended to exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Responsibility for a particular service or problem depends on the applicable law and the relevant agreement; these terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of liability.
